Just wanted to let everyone know that I have completed my Romantic Thriller and am now seeking an agent to help me get it published. That’s right I went and did it. I blame all those people over the years that have encouraged me to write a book – it’s your fault.
So if anyone is an agent, knows an agent, is willing to kidnap an agent, or other wise has an idea of how I can capture the attention of an agent (other than singing and guitar playing outside an agents window – I can’t play guitar and my guitar playing son said no way) let me know. Otherwise I will have to keep sending out query letters and proposals to a group of very busy people hoping something I write will grab them enough that they will read my story.

Did you ever think about giving us a teaser of the first chapter? Or part of the chapter so we are really interested once you find your publisher? You could do that as a giveaway for signing up for your newsletter.

Janis, You wrote this over a year ago and I am not sure I ever responded. I was still learning my website at that time. Your advice was very good and it prompted me to write a couple of short stories that I put on my website as a sample of my writing. I am not sure if you heard that we contracted with Cynthia Hickey of Winged Publications for our novels. I would covet your prayers that God will have his hand on all that is to come and use it for his glory. We are a semi-finalist in the Genesis contest again and our third novel is a finalist in the Daphne award from RWA. Thank you for your encouragement and input back then. I owe so much to all the little helps along the way from those who have traveled the road before me.
