Hey everyone. I wanted to share with you a great honor I received. Donald Balla, (see photo) retired John Brown University Professor and retired attorney just gave me a wonderfully humbling review on SEEING BEYOND. Here are some excerpts:
…“Hey, this guy can write! …the story design was intelligent and creative! It is a Christian suspense novel with special needs characters. (Check up on Williams Syndrome and Fragile X Syndrome.) …
The surprises pile up. The romantic plot, instead of being predictable, kept veering on me. Just when I was settling into a who-done-it, the book turned into a why-done-it. Then a plot twist here, a surprise back story there, and I was caught. The book sucked me in. Three great things about “Seeing Beyond” did not surprise me.
1. I expected the Sheriff to be an intelligent and skilled police officer because Kent was.
2. I expected the book to flow with love because Kent does.
3. I expected the Christian issues to be profound. Jesus has profoundly touched Kent.
So, as Kent let us see deeper into his characters—both heroes and villains—the book became about neither the Christianity nor the story, for the two had meshed.
Oh my, what a fine book. I’m ready for the next one.

Thank you, Don. As I have said this book has grown to something bigger than either Rebekah or I. God has honored the prayers of the many people supporting us and made something out of our humble offering. Thank you, Everyone.
